Indie rock duo Valley Boy release their latest single ‘Gummi Bear,’ from their debut EP Thursday Friday; the EP is out now and features earlier singles ‘Black Cat,’ ‘Cigarette,’ and ‘Sad Girl.’
Emotions drip raw from ‘Gummi Bear,’ with sweet melodies and soul-soothing vocals reminiscent of yesteryear. The nostalgic track transports listeners to those golden moments in adolescence, where experiences—both good and bad—helped shape their psyches.
Valley Boy shares,
"Thursday Friday is a snapshot of a period of time in which we, having spent over half of our lives as best friends and musicians, spontaneously started writing and recording songs together in our garage. We didn’t have a plan at first, or even a band name, but it just felt like the right thing for both of us to be doing at that point in our lives—especially because we were both pretty fed up with making music for other people.”

“The songs on this EP cover territory spanning from our personal relationships to our family ones, and even our relationship with each other as friends, and are all shaped through the lens of having grown up together in our beloved San Fernando Valley.
