Pop rock powerhouse Planet Case drop their much anticipated single ‘Royal’ from their second EP, ‘r’, which will be released in May of 2021. The expansive track is the first song that the band has self-produced under their own record label, Stellarec.
The Finnish band’s music has always combined explosive sound with unique personal feelings, so it’s no surprise that ‘Royal’ touches on themes of self-worth and compares having a lack of self-respect to an egotistical worldview, with ease. Featuring a lush style of vocal arrangement, Planet Case delivers a masterfully composed track.
The band has released their debut EP along with singles that have made their way to the top 10 of Spotify Finland’s Viral 50; their songs have also received Spotify Editorial placements by several New Music Friday playlists in the Nordics, as well as radio channels in Finland, Germany, and the USA.
Planet Case’s dream come true moment occurred when they supported Sunrise Avenue at a sold-out stadium, in front of 15,000 people. Having been on several support tours, Planet Case has played on some of the largest stages, and in numerous festivals throughout Finland and will continue to release amazing projects throughout 2021.
