Trxpstxr JLB releases his latest single with K-Odd-Ik and Taurs, “Demons Outta My Head.” Featuring a dreamlike melody and raw lyrics, “Demons Outta My Head” is a visceral and authentic account of what it’s like to grapple with mental illness.
“The story behind “Demons Outta My Head”, is about someone that's suffering with demons, and they need an escape to deal with those demons and their pain; what I mean by demons, is mental health demons, such as: depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, drug addiction and suicide,” explains Trxpstxr JLB.
Trxpstxr JLB has been rapping his whole life, but officially started pursuing a career in the industry back in 2016. He gained a following in 2017 due to his excessive fights in school, social media beefs, and various EP and album releases. His music deals with serious topics, like mental illness, and it incorporates styles from a wide range of genres, including: emo rap, alternative rock, heavy metal, punk, lo-fi, punk rock, screamo and hip-hop.
Trxpstxr JLB released his latest album, "Teenage Disaster," in September of 2021, and he is scheduled to release the deluxe version of it in the near future. “This deluxe version will be an album/mixtape with unreleased material under my friends’ record labels, Oddest Rekords and Freek Shit Studios,” shares Trxpstxr JLB.
Through his music, Trxpstxr JLB hopes to help others overcome their own mental illnesses, in an effort to create a better world for everyone.
