Los Angeles, CA — Brazilian singer-songwriter Laura Rizzotto embraces her roots in her latest single “Papaya” — streaming now on all major platforms.
Mixing a Bossa Nova feel with pop structure and catchy hooks, "Papaya" was a collaboration with Laura Rizzotto and multi-platinum Colombian producer Ali Stone accompanied by up-and-coming producer Mateo Barragan.
Laura Rizzotto shares, “We really wanted ‘Papaya’ to feel like the musical embodiment of being on vacation in Rio, having breakfast in bed with your lover. There’s such a warmth and genuine joy in Brazilian music. I was really excited to embrace my roots in this song and transport people to this tropical, romantic dream”.
The upcoming single will contain a Portuguese version and incorporate elements of Laura's upbringing, including sounds recorded from the block in Ipanema where she grew up. Consisting of an electectic sound selection and an angelic vocal performance from Laura Rizzotto, "Papaya" is a silky smooth romantic single that is sure to spice up any playlist!
