Making their way to the Spotify scene for the first time, Goldthread debut their single ‘Legacy.’

With sounds reminiscent of Tonight Alive, ‘Legacy’ is an atmospheric track laced with layered vocals and sweet synth sections.

“To leave a legacy is to leave something of yours behind for the next generation. Usually, it’s a positive connotation and you remember the impact people leave on you in a kind way. This song takes the meaning of leaving a legacy and looks at it through a different lens—sometimes people don’t leave you with happy memories. Sometimes your story is marked by the negative impact other people have passed down to you. Legacy is about redefining what it means to carry the weight of bad decisions made by the generations before you,” shares Goldthread.

Goldthread is a dark pop band from Akron, Ohio, whose music is comprised of deep storytelling, heavy guitars and dreamy synths. Band members Kaylene and Lauren met in high school and have been collaborating on numerous projects ever since. Their former band, Keys & Corridors, hit two U.S. tours and included support sets for bands, such as: Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Trapt and Emarosa.

Goldthread is set to roll out one edgy track after the next, throughout 2021.
